The Courageous Women, Fearless Living Retreat Scholarship Fund has been established to offer financial assistance to women who would otherwise not have the financial capacity to attend. For first time attendees, scholarship funds may be applied to all or part of the cost of the retreat.

Please note that travel expenses are not covered by scholarships at this time.

 

Additionally, Shambhala Mountain Center generously offers a 25% discount on housing and meals for all Courageous Women, Fearless Living participants. You will see a variety of housing options on the SMC website. The scholarship covers dormitory accommodations and meals at the discounted rate. 

 

If you would prefer another housing option you will be asked to pay the difference between the scholarship dorm accommodation amount and the cost of your preferred housing choice.

 

Income is not factored into a scholarship award, however, we do ask for annual income because it’s helpful overall to measure this data. All scholarship application information will be held in confidence.

You will receive a response to your application within approximately two weeks of submission. Please email info@cwfl.org to inquire about the status of your application only if it has been longer than two weeks.

 

Please note that a scholarship award may be reconsidered if it is determined that the physical environment of the retreat is unsafe for your current health status. A waiver from your doctor may be required for attendance in such cases. Feel free to contact us directly with any questions or concerns regarding this policy.

 

If you are applying for a scholarship please do not register for the program on the SMC website until your scholarship has been awarded.
